Students should pay special attention to the rules of writing a research paper in Chicago style. First of all, Chicago style has two forms of citations. The first one should be written as endnotes and footnotes with bibliography. Another one is written as parenthetical notations and it should contain the work’s cited page. The references are written at the end of the work. This part is written on a separate page. The references should be written in alphabetical order regarding the last names of authors. The text of research paper should be double spaced, though references, endnotes and footnotes should be single spaced.
