United Kingdom Visa and Immigration List of Majority English speaking Countries

I wrote a wonderful and amazing article on the English Speaking countries, but I discovered I couldn’t cover more on the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) law, so I decided to write on the UK visa and Immigration law, which has listed out certain countries that are allowed to enter the country without taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Test Scheme (IELTS).

The UKVI also announced that if you are a national of one of the countries which are mentioned below, you certainly do not need to provide evidence of your English language ability when you apply for your visa to study in the UK.

  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Australia
  • The Bahamas
  • Barbados
  • Belize
  • Canada
  • Dominica
  • Grenada
  • Guyana
  • Jamaica
  • New Zealand
  • St Kitts and Nevis
  • St Lucia
  • St Vincent and the Grenadines
  • Trinidad and Tobago
  • United States of America

Applying for Postgraduate in the UK

Please take note that if you are applying for postgraduate (and in a few limited cases undergraduate) studies and have completed an academic qualification, which is equivalent to a UK Bachelors degree in one of the countries which are mentioned and listed below, the United Kingdom government do not need you to provide evidence of your English language ability when you apply for your visa to study in the UK.

  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Australia
  • The Bahamas
  • Barbados
  • Belize
  • Dominica
  • Grenada
  • Guyana
  • Ireland
  • Jamaica
  • New Zealand
  • St Kitts and Nevis
  • St Lucia
  • St Vincent and the Grenadines
  • Trinidad and Tobago
  • The United Kingdom
  • United States of America
